Our Process.
A Successful Outcome.
From initial consultation through to "closing day." We help guide both the buyer and seller to a successful outcome every time we represent a business changing hands.
Label
Initial Consultation.
Not every business is sellable, and we will be the first to tell our clients that improvements must be made to achieve a listing with PBB. We scrutinize the Tax returns and overall business model before issuing a listing agreement.
Label
Listing Agreement.
Once our analysis has been completed, we provide the owner with our business evaluation and sale price. If acceptable, we enter into a listing agreement, and the business is then taken to market.
Label
Marketing & Confidentiality.
Due to the sensitive nature of listing a business, confidentiality agreements are compulsory for anyone interested in the industry for sale, and any marketing used for listing the business, is vague and generic, which allows our clients to maintain anonymity. We know that employee retention is always a concern, and no employees ever find out that the business they work for is for sale until the owner decides to disclose it to them personally.
Label
Buyers.
We often entertain multiple buyers for our listings, we treat each one fairly, and we always have the seller's best intentions in the foreground of the process. We liaise with all parties and offer full disclosure throughout the process. Assisting the buyers with qualifying for SBA Loans is our specialty and a skill most other business brokers in America do not have the patience or ability to navigate.
Label
Completing the Sale.
Juggling: Lawyers, Accountants, buyers and sellers, and banks simultaneously can be a daunting task. Throw in your EPA, title searches, and other misc professional bodies, and you will see how complicated a process selling your business can be. To successfully complete the sale of your business, all of these moving parts have to be addressed and satisfied before a closing can be achieved. PBB is the best at completing sales, year in and year out, and enjoys the handshake at the end of every transaction. Above all, we want to see the buyer and seller win.
Lending.
When it comes to selling your business, the most challenging hurdle to overcome is the lending process. For the past 30 years, we have seen it all. Due to our long-standing relationships with private and conventional lenders, our ability to navigate the lending process is very streamlined, which allows us to get your business sold.
SBA Requirements.
Having sold hundreds of businesses, we know what to expect during the lending process. Having a complete package to start the loan process helps our clients stay ahead of the game. We help mitigate the RFI's (Request for information) and guide our buyers through the complicated red tape associated with obtaining successful loan approval.
